Hey! You're looking at the old site (here for archival purposes). If you want to see the latest and greatest, check out the new Felocity at felocity.com.

Jakob Heuser

Besides working on felocity.org, I also work as a developer and administrator for Gaia Online, one of the fastest growing avatar based social communities on the web. When not programming, I'm programming other things. When not faced with a desire to code I take enjoyment in video games, photography, and music. The randomness on my iPod has been known to scare people. I'm coming up on year 6 of a web professional (year 8 if you consider a shopping cart in 1998), and am living comfortably in San Jose, CA. Since about pages have never been my thing, I'll leave this in the trusting hands of my friends.

In the Words of Mandy

Jakers is probably the one person on my buddy list that I wish I talked to more XD He's been there two years and sometimes I just feel like we know so little about each other. XD But lately we've actually been talking, and it hasn't all been me asking for help. I met him back when he was just starting out as a mod on Gaia, and he was running a tutorial thread. I was having issues with part of it, and even though I used to be SOOOOO intimidated by mods, I managed to gather up the courage to bother him about it XD And he wasn't bothered at all by it. XD So we talked about that, and randomly talked about other things as well and ended up saying friends. Then he got promoted to admin and I always was worried that I'd be bothering him, so I didn't IM him very often. XD And he usually was pretty busy so he didn't IM me much either. XD But he's been there for me now and then when I needed someone to rant to about my lame emo-angstiness in the past, and I've tried to be there for him, though he's only need to rant to me once that I can recall. XD

And he's always there to help me debug my CSS and give me advice on how I can make my designs better. XD And he owes me eternal help, or so he says, for making him his next profile. Though, I'd rather that he owed me a "promise" that he'd come to ACEN next year (unless something really comes up that keeps him away XD) I've been trying to get that boy to come since 2005's ACEN XD And if all goes REALLY the way I plan, he'll be making two trips to Chicago next summer... one for ACEN, and the other for mah wedding. XD

AND DAMNIT I CALLED HIM JAKERS FIRST! XD
