Just Another Entry

December 29, 2001 @ 09:12 am

A quick note before the fun begins: I am currently cleaning my room, folding clothes, doing laundry, and I am sure at some point or another going to be talking to Darth on the phone. So if you don't like these disjointed shoebox-contained-style entries, I recommend you close this window now while you still can. That being said, it is now on to your regular everyday mumbo-jumbo.

I fell asleep last night in our living room, as my brother and CJ were playing Tony Hawk 3, a game I simply suck at. Have you ever noticed that when you are really bad at a game, you get more enjoyment out of watching it than you do actually playing it? I mean, sure I can move the character around, even do a few grinds. Ask me to do anything more complicated though and I promise you that you will get a blank stare back at you. So I sat out there and watched, helped them solve some of the goals in Los Angeles, and then promptly fell asleep. Earlier today I found that CJ left about 3:45 or so, since apparently they played Madden after TH3. Madden is also like TH3 for me, so I must say that I am rather glad I fell asleep. I woke up this morning some time like nine which is early for me, and then started doing the usual lot of daily things.…

Okay, since I haven't touched this in a few days, I decided I really needed to update it. I haven't had much time to work on my website, although I am proud to say I finally tricked Microsoft Outlook into working with my email. All the settings finally work, which I am happy about. So now I have a new email address, which if you care to use, is located my clicking this long sentence whose sole purpose is to serve as a link to my new email, so there!…

Shopping Trip!

December 01, 2001 @ 11:12 pm

Today was a day of fun filled shopping at the Northridge Mall in Salinas. Similar to the Arden Fair Mall back home in Sacramento, this mall is designed to be a one stop source for everything, regardless of income level, making it perfect for college students like myself. Card in hand since cash is so cumbersome, I began the fun. I took Ki with me today, since I was looking for gifts for EHtheOtter and Makari. On a side note, I had been doing so much with them that it was a welcome change. Needless to say, there was a lot of drama associated with Ki and I going shopping (people get the strangest notions). I got all my gifts I wanted to, and a few others for people I really wasn't sure what to get. It is a wonderful feeling when you see something that you know you simply -have- to get for a person. Still haven't found anything for Thought or THE, although thankfully if worse comes to worse, I can find them at home. It is buying for my net friends right now that is the hardest, since those need to be in the mail somewhere about now. This, of course, means letters need to be written, packages packed, and then one big trip to Mailboxes Etc. to deliver the goods. Looks like I have the next week jam-packed for me.

Outside of the mall trip, today was rather plain. Perhaps equated to the bagel that lacks in cream cheese or other goodies as such. Nothing special, but then again it is a bagel, so it can't be all that bad.…
