And yet another thrilling entry about nothing special

Meh, stuff. I figure since this is a blog, and you are reading it, you must simply be crazy. Either that or you enjoy the pointless technical banter about languages not many people care about. I could fill this entry with all sorts of emotional stuff. Instead, I present: technical babble!

I've gotten all the design and SQL related things done for the ASAP Database. Now all that is left is a huge chunk of interface writing. At this rate though, everything will be ready for the start of the year, which is nice. My only hope is that ASAP followed up and got the card readers I had asked for. I sent Marc a direct link to the Magtek web site with the exact card reader we want. Hopefully that will be at ASAP by the time I return.

Probably the biggest problem with Microsoft Access remains its inability to work with its own data sets. There is no easy way to run an SQL statement and get results. At least, not without some really bulky lines of code. Additionally, there is no way to hold the data effectively without using ADO. (ADO, while good, is far more work than this thing needs.)

School's coming quick. A bit too quick for my taste, but it will be nice to get back into a somewhat regular groove.
