Long time no...blog?
I don't think I have sat down to write a serious entry for quite some time. I wish I could say that it has been so long I have forgotten how to do it, but let it be known the that process of throwing yourself to the dogs of the Internet is something you never forget how to do. I have given a lot of thought to if I want to write a full on Con Report, and have decided I won't really bother. You're in it for the galleries, I'm in the lazy mood, and the pictures are still at Longs anyway, costing me money to get them developed. Hopefully, they will be done by Monday or Tuesday and I can grab them then. Once I have those, I will post up the galleries and stuff.
I have a lot more time on my hands now that the major part of con season is over. There is still the BAAS barbecue, and a few other small things, but for the most part, the cosplay chaos is over. I used the masses of free time I had today to work on the club web site (now complete, yay!), finish up some stuff on the CAC site (more yay!), and even got a chance to work on my database stuff for ASAP, a task which I am getting paid for. Unfortunately, the last item there isn't quite 100% yay. See, my work is still in a state of disarray, and all I know is I have 7 hours per week for the database at least. I know nothing about the other hours I am working, so I am just taking those 7 per week and putting them to good use. Hopefully I will also snag one of those shoddy minimum wage jobs to fill the rest of the void in time between now and school. Need to do that job hunting, and may start that joy this weekend perhaps. At least it isn't for a long period.
I don't think my body has fully recovered from the cons yet though, as it is only 12:30 and my body is already wanting to sleep. Might as well respect its wishes!
