Chi No Tsuki and Japan Center

I was just too damned tired to write yesterday and spill out about all the fun that was my weekend. Saturday was pretty slow, which was okay. Sunday, I went places.

It started with the shooting for Chi No Tsuki, which was cancelled do to our group missing someone (Pip) who was a pivotal piece of the shot. So, that ruined filming, and we scrapped it and will try and do it two weekends out. After that, Kryn declares he wants to go to Castro to get a book on Japanese rope bondage. Sine it had been a while since I had gone to SF, I figured sure, why not. As we start assembling a group, Mariah suggests we go to Haight Street as well. Now there is somewhere I have been longing to go to for a while now. There are things there that are just plain hard to find anywhere else. So I got a collar, another one that is also black and has 3 spikes on either side of the ring, a yak pak (thank you Fred for the recommendation to get it), and a shirt that is just well...not normal. A green w/ black hood. It looks pretty nice.

After Haight we went to the Japan Center and walked around. The Cherry Blossom Festival was wrapping up, which sucks because none of us realized it was going on today. I had to keep Kryn away from the laser discs of anime though... they were clearancing them and Kryn thankfully didn't bring any credit cards. ^_^

Finally, after dinner in Japantown and wandering the mall, we tried to go to Castro to get Kryn's book. Parking on Castro just wasn't going to happen any time soon (it was so crowded) that we passed on the book, deciding to use it as an excuse to revisit in a few weekends. So who all actually went? Kryn, myself, and Scribbles. Mariah ended up going with Sheyne to Santa Cruz to work on their costumes for Fanime, which is something I need to badly do as well.

And now, my laundry is done and must enter the dryer. While clothes dry, I clean. I should also hammer out another assignment for Instructional Design and work on all my homework for tomorrow. I swear, there aren't enough hours in today. I need some extra ones.
