Cold = Brrrr

Monterey has gotten cold. You know, like December cold. It's not that I mind the cold either. Honestly, I come a bit better equipped than most to deal with frigid temperatures. I don't mind the cold, as there is something I really miss in curling up in front of the fireplace with a good book. About the best I can hope for right now is a thermostat at 80 degrees or more courtesy of Skiptrack.

Last night, Eric came in here to play some games on the Hex so I crawled up into bed and watched for a bit, and ultimately ended up falling asleep before 11:00. It seems my body has caught on to the whole "you didn't sleep much this last weekend" thing, and is attempting to compensate in case this weekend goes the same way. I am spending every spare moment in an attempt to get HW done so I can enjoy my weekend.

Speaking of enjoying my weekend, I think I might be taking as many people to campus Friday night as I can for something I am scheming called Last Sound. On the eve of what will become 24 hour Quiet Hours on the University, a bunch of people will use the last hour to make noise through campus and get rid of finals tension. I let UPD know that there would be noise, but it would stop at midnight. I also let some of the more active people know about it. I am attempting to spread the word by word of mouth only. Why advertise something that you want to have advertise itself? On this campus, honestly, word of mouth is one of the best things out there.

My Experiment 2 for Java is due today, but I only have one thing left on it. I will most likely spend class working on my final project. It seems the final project is easy compared to this ATM project we have been doing for 2 months. I honestly think compared to the 15 hours for the ATM, 3 for the final project is quite easy. He is even providing the images we need, and there is an example we can draw on (the metric converter). Work today crawls from 1 until 8, so I will probably get food and my White Elephant tonight at Target or something. I have a really good idea of something I want to get, I just have to go get it and wrap it. x_X I have no wrapping paper yet. I suppose I should get that too.
