The 4:30 am super cosplay (holy crap) extravaganza!
Done: wristbands pants glasses (cheated, just using own)
Almost Done: Katanas V 2.0 - Need to seal the edge with a glue and then spray them down Gloves - need to affix above katanas, touch up paint Black Coat - need to add cuff buttons, all other parts done White Shirt - need to cut / affix really funky collar Shoes - need to add black stripes
Um, uh oh: Club panel stuff - I need to sit down and hammer this stuff out
I also would like to touch up my Game and Watch before AX, time allowing. I also need some sleek black gloves of some kind for the silly puppet stuff. Only 2 costumes for AX, but that's more than enough for me.
Time for sleep. Need to be up around 10 or so to get supplies for the con. Things like hot glue, straight pins, emergency patching and repairing equipment... did you know they sell transparent duct tape? It's a cosplay emergency blessing! ^_^
Today was really good. I got a lot of work done, and am going to have my costume done before the convention again. I really like doing that, especially since then I can focus on other things such as helping others (or even relaxing). H came over today to work on Tashigi stuff, and all was good. She had some really fucking awesome sandals for her Nami costume. Gwaugh, she's gonna have Zoro(s) all over her... LOL. I would include Sanji, but most of the cosplay Sanjis aren't male. As for me, I get to run around crazy with Jango and shift my glasses all creepy-like. That alone makes this entire costume worth it. Money may be a little tight this con since I have some monetary promises to keep, so I will have to keep my eye out only for select things. But that's all in 3 days. ... THREE DAYS?!
As I said, clearly time for sleep.
