DCC: Requires one firstborn child

I ate far too much food. I think I will take the week off from eating at this rate. We ate dinner (our apartment) almost 5 hours ago and I still feel full. We had moist turkey, we had potatoes, we had breads, and we had stuffing. We had good wine, we had soda, and we had more than enough for before, during and after. We had pumpkin pie, we had pound cake with strawberries and whipped cream, and we had pineapple sheet cake with sugared frosting. We had firsts, we had seconds, and some of us were crazy enough to take thirds.

We have leftovers, even after all that eating, we still have food left over. As for me, I am not sure if I will be having lunch tomorrow because I do honestly believe I am that full. This dinner hammered my appetite into another dimension or something. It was worth all the work, all the prep, and all the last minute errand running. Lisa and Eric also deserve 99% of the credit for igniting the butter and smoking the kitchen (and doing a lot of the cooking work).

On the side, all this good food did leave me homesick, but don't go spreading that one around. Especially if it would lead to less of the above mentioned good food.

The weekend has been pretty quiet, although school is going to kick back up tomorrow (and probably kick me in the butt again) but until then I may as well work on all the homework that I can. At this point, most of the homework has shifted from the typical assignments to final projects, which means that if I don't start now, a few weeks out I will probably end up going crazy from a mix of caffeine, sugar, and a lack of sleep. Seems 2 of my 4 classes want a web site, and the other two have long and involved final projects. Looks like I have some work cut out for me. Thankfully, we don't have to worry about food any time soon around the apartment.
