Dell's 'dude' gets arrested. [msnbc]
This amuses me greatly for no major reason. We are writing class definitions (yay?) and essentially working at our own pace. Since mine is compiled and done, I wandered the web since I lack a functioning Pocket PC.
Yes, you just read that right. My PPC is currently in a very long and deep sleep. You see, my PocketPC is part of a special limited recall I discovered. What happens is a beautiful little thing we will call a "firmware glitch" prevents the "backup battery" from recharging. What this really means is I left my PPC out of the cradle, without a recharge for about a week, and BLAMMO.
No more documents. No more contacts. No more calendar. No more AIM. No more pretty Wi-Fi email access and chatting in class.
So what did I so after the the realization set in? I called Toshiba, where I discovered my unit is being recalled for the above mentioned defect. As crazy as it sounds, I feel very unorganized without it.

[Update: Instead of dedicating an entry to a minor amusement, simply go to here and play with the random generator or something while I resume my suffering in my Service Learning class. Lacking a PPC (see above), there won't be any amusing quotes from class and I may have to actually pay attention.
