Bleh, yesterday was our subject specific training. It wasn't really all that bad, but it was long. And by long I mean very long, going from 9 until about 4. As far as meetings go, that was pretty painful. The morning was full of training on a text reader application known as Kursweil. I felt like I had been warped back into Windows 3.1 or something. The program looked lame, sounded lamer, and did nothing that Omni Page and Dragon couldn't do better for almost $200 less. Jay taught his laptop to rap, I listened to the Call of the Wild at 1297 words per minute, we changed words like "the" to sound like "tah-hee", and didn't need the 40 page document to explain to us that clicking "read" reads the text (gasp). The best moment was still listening to Dr. Dre through a computer. You couldn't listen and not laugh. Finally, we broke for lunch at Taco Hole.. er Bell, and then Starbucks. Sundy is not allowed to mix Taco Bell and Starbucks again. Hyper dancing in front of the Starbucks, while funny was just, uh yeah... lol.

We returned to the meeting and got to talk about what a tutor is, which was kind of amusing. As the afternoon dragged on, we got more and more random, and Jake got all sappy and sentimental at the end of training. He basically told us all he had slacked off last semester and how he felt like he would try harder this time around. Of course, he got paid to get a C in Media Tools and hardly do any work, but that is a gripe saved for later. The meeting ended on that note, and as we all escaped into the now setting sun, there were "Hippo" noises, randomness, and me humming "Stray" on the drive home. When I got home I chilled, played some games, and called it a night.

Today will hopefully begin the weekend viewing of Gravitation 1-13. Heh heh heh.

3 Things You Would Do With A Million Dollars Cash: 1. Set aside a lot of it so I could finish college, masters, etc. 2. Travel after college 3. Enjoy living off the surplus. ^_~

2nd survey:

YOUR NAME (1) The singular boring question: Jakob (2) If you had been born a member of the opposite sex, what would your name have been?: I don't think they had a name picked out honestly. I could have very well been a Katie or something. o.O (3) Would you name a child of yours after you?: Children? Peh. (4) If you had to switch first names with a friend of yours, who would you switch with?: Hmmm Never really thought of switching a name. lol (5) What's the way people most often mispronounce any part of your name?: My last name. Heuser... Hew-zer Not howzer, not hoizer. : (6) If you were to become famous, would you drop your last name (like Madonna, Cher, Roseanne)?: No, no, I like my name. ^^

DEEP THEOLOGICAL QUESTIONS (7) Do you believe in the traditional view of Heaven and Hell?: For now, I am content with abstracts, so no not really (8) Do you think God has a gender?: I don't know? Might make using the restroom difficult though. (9) Do you think science counteracts religion?: No. (10) Do you believe in organized religion?: I tend to avoid any large mass or organized people. Not just religion either. (11) Where do you think we go when we die?: I would like to think into the ground, but if I somehow get vaporized, this changes the whole darn thing! (12) Do you feel a little funny thinking about the questions in this section?: Not really, but then again I am not being all that serious.

HUMOR (13) How easy is it to make you laugh?: On certain topics, and long-running jokes, pretty easy (14) What person you know makes you laugh the most?: Steve (15) Do you laugh at jokes you know you shouldn't?: I am almost certain I have at some point. (16) Do you tell jokes you know you shouldn't?: I try to avoid it. (17) What words instantly make you laugh or at least smile?: HIPPO! Singing songs with "whang". (18) What do you think is the funniest thing you've ever said or written?: If I could somehow recreate that sound in words, it would be that... XD

MUSIC (19) Do you ever dance to music when nobody's watching?: Mhm (20) What is/are the worst song(s) you have ever heard?: Daft Punk with the pitch set so perfectly wrong that it causes you to wither in audial pain. (21) What song(s) do you wish you could understand a little better?: Um, the ones I don't understand? (22) What song(s) are constantly in your head?: Currently, "Stray" and random bits of the OGC series a friend sent me. (23) What song(s) do you think describe your personality best?: mew? o.O Depends on my mood I suppose. (24) If you were to serenade the object of your affections, which song(s) would you use?: I don't really sing. =p (25) If the object of your affections were to serenade you, what song(s) would you hope he or she used?: -_-;;; uh, something pretty?

MOVIES (26) What movie(s) do you love that nobody else seems to?: The Lion King. Yeah, I know how much it is like Kimba, but I enjoyed this Disney-tastic singing fest. =p (27) Do you agree with the idea that sequels are always worse than the original?: More often than not, a sequel is hard to match to the first. The first sets the bar, and you can only keep clearing the bar so much. (28) Who's your favorite Star Wars character?: I always had a soft spot for Bossk... ^_^ (29) What kind of movie do you think there should be more of?: Aren't we swamped with enough movies already? Just wait until they have "Survivor: The Movie" :( (30) What movie(s) do you simply not understand the appeal of?: I can't think of any offhand

FOOD (31) When eating, are you more concerned with taste or healthiness?: Taste. Healthiness factors into the moderation of the food. (32) What's your favorite kind of cheese?: Pepper Jack (33) What do you think your answer to the previous question reveals about your personality?: Um, meow? (34) If you knew exactly what went into Chinese food, hamburger meat, etc., would you still eat it?: Mhm. I know what's in it. Point is? (35) Do you ever feel guilty eating meat?: Not really.

COMPUTERS (36) Mac or PC?: PC, though for certain things a Mac is far better. Especially with video stuff. (37) How much do you actually care about the inner workings of your computer, as long as it works?: Quite a bit. :) (38) Do you ever begin preferring IMs to other forms of conversation?: When I am sick and lost my voice, yes.
