I had a pretty large rant prepared about the desire to want to release a decent quality fansub, but you aren't going to get that tonight. After all, we shouldn't be picking on any groups, no matter what grounds their group was founded on or how little effort they put into spell checking their script.

I was also going to spread the excitement about Kaizoku-Fansubs releasing Movie 2 soon. But it's been a bit stressful (and a bit of a disheartening experience), but I will get to that later. Instead, I figure since I've been at this academic thing for a week and a half now, I have a really good guess of how my semester will be. If all signs point in the direction they have been pointing, then this semester is going to leave little time for sleep, and even less time for food. It seems my spare moments on campus during the day are being spent in meetings, at work, filing forms, or talking with faculty in preparation for my capstone and my masters education. From the instant I get home until I pass out, I have a book open; even when chatting or working on subtitle stuff. I read for a bit, check channel windows, come back to reading, do a few lines in an episode, resume the reading, do a math problem, set up a special distro channel so that we can pull in the external help for this 700 mb insanity they are releasing soon in the channel.

I've noticed I have started to use "they" a lot more when I refer to K-F. I find it rather odd, especially since I still accidentally say "we" when referring to Target (you know, as if I had an impact there or something). Anyway, I'm not really sure why I say they, other than all I do is distro for them (and make pretty web stuff). I guess in a very small way, that is why I take the time to thank everyone who does distro for the group. They throw their bandwidth at the leeches week after week, deal with the same 'ole stuff, and really don't get much beyond a hi, heya, and thank you. I feel terrible about it, especially those who are paying money for the bandwidth that drives the bots. They are basically giving money for bandwidth they give straight to the group, and they never get so much as a thank you from anyone. Most of the crew probably doesn't even know the distro people. I guess that is why now when I spam the release info, I include a "distro thanks" section. Sure, anyone could do distro, but just how many people actually do? I go out of my way to thank the distro... without them, there wouldn't be any One Piece floating around.

As far as me, myself, and I go though, I really wasn't expecting to be listed in the Special Thanks section on Movie 2 there. I don't do enough to really deserve to be listed. ^^;; I need to do more, better QCs, improve the distro end of the web site, make things run faster and smoother, get the K-F bot running on the new web site, try harder, work stronger, and eventually have people recognize me for my stren- ... I sound like Naruto.

Maybe it is better to not be noticed.
