Knockin down, knockin it back

It's not that I am terribly down, but more that I see nothing worth being terribly up about. It's been a busy past few days, especially with moving. OfficeMax has still failed to email me and let me know my order is being shipped, which is a minor annoyance. Hopefully it will arrive today, but by now I am starting to wonder. Charles (admin of felocity.org and everything else on that server) is moving in to replace Eric, who moved out really fast. This has also made cooking a fun challenge, with no microwave and limited cookware. I think I can manage up until this weekend though.

If you are one of the many who read the LJ version, you may have also noticed the new shiny icon(s). These were courtesy of H, so very yay!

You'll have to forgive the quiet. See, I have been trying this optimism thing, and every time I try and be hopeful, I am promptly reminded by reality why I kept a pessimistic outlook on everything. Even despite this, I will probably just ride with the flow of things. It's better just not to expect. Now that we have that out of the way, onto happy Internet news.

I love Waxy and you should too, as they never cease to amaze me with being the first with exciting content. Valve's software source code leak wasn't enough apparently, as the game (alpha) has leaked as well. The details on the event are at the very least amusing, but could mean a lot more for Valve, who has been under fire since some time in September to complete the game. It looks even prettier than before, the environments beyond just the E3 demo are astounding. It makes my inner geek leap with something that bears resemblance to joy.

You should also go play this game.
