Yeah, the picture above seems to tell it all: I needed to update the world. I haven't been around much, but there is actually good reason for it. I have been hard at work carrying all three of my current projects. The first one is my website, and the second is the ca.com site, but the third is still a mystery and will probably remain so until the official launch date. At present, all I can say is it is a website that I currently have a link to on my page, and that I am very honored to be doing this site.
So in terms of the daylight hours, that has been my task. Tonight (since I do not call it morning until I wake up) we went to a Japanese restaurant and my brother tried sushi for the first time. And, as luck may have it, he liked it. My mother on the other hand, had her own opinion of the concept called �raw fish�. I spent a part of the evening talking to Thought, Spi, and sh0ck, the last of the trio really being the only one I �had- to talk to. Since I was talking while playing with the ca.com layout, I didn't bother to log the hours. I figure the time I want to be paid for is time spent doing productive work, not just tinkering. I guess it is what you call a good work ethic. Hopefully this work ethic will land me an internship this summer at Vision Service Plan, a group that deals in eye care insurance, but has a very large database and makes use of ASP and SQL technology, stuff I have had a deep hunger to learn and practice with for quite some time. More on that no doubt later as things unfold.
Tomorrow I will likely do something with Darth since it was his birthday today, but he had plans during the day and I had my mother's birthday dinner tonight. Thought will hopefully also join us in the festivities and fun. I must say, I will enjoy watching Thought dominate in Tony Hawk 3. The boy has been practicing thanks to his rental of it for the PlayStation 2.
I really do want to write more, but my body just doesn't want to do any more typing. It seems that it just wants to sleep. Perhaps I should heed it, just this once. If my body will let me though, I may do a few small things. If all goes well, I will be able to call ChilleD at some point tomorrow, if only to give her a hi and a hello.
Lastly, I may be doing cosplay at Anime Expo. And as who? Well, if this turns out to be a go, then I will tell you, and I have no doubt people will be in shock and horror, but most likely both at the same time.
Note to self: Begin spending report for ICC tomorrow so it will be done before you go back to Monterey. Also, call ChilleD on the 13th. Also, do a bit more work on ca.com such as background tweaks and finish the navigation sections. Also, do anything else that needs to be done.
