Gack! Finals! They are not only here, but planning to last for the next two weeks! I am sorry my poor journal, but you are being typed in at ASAP since I don't have time to go back to my room and sit down in front of you for some quality reflection time.
This last weekend was amazing, which put me in a good mood (yes, it's true I do smile sometimes) for today and probably for the week. So what exactly put me in this wonderful mood? Well, Saturday was "All Day Eva" put on by the CSUMB Anime Club, and that spanned all the way into Sunday as well. After Eva, I went over to Nehara's room, and we went to go get Chinese food and then we went over to the Galaxy cinemas. Yes, it was like 7 at night, but guess who got opening day tickets to go see Episode II? Awww, yeah, you know it. ^_^ Hey, I think it happens to be cool that nobody here in the Monterey area appreciates movies enough to go see it. I remember back home in Roseville having to stand in line for so long to get tickets, and then all over again to see the movie. So anyway, let me restate this, I have Episode II tickets!
When I got back, Nehara had some STAT homework to do, so I slipped next door to talk to Gretchen and give her the ticket (I got one for her too). She then, after screaming, shouting, jumping up and down and so forth, proceeded to grill me on my dinner and stuff. Since I hate questions like that, I decided to be my usual self. I told her what we ordered, what drinks, what order we ate food in, the fact that neither of us could pick up ice with chopsticks, what our fortunes said, etc. See, this is why you never ask me personal questions. ~_^
So yeah, the night was fun, but after all that it was time for homework. I finished busting out my Instructional Design project (beta version) and then started working on my research paper that is due tomorrow. Before 10am tomorrow, I have a presentation due, a research paper, and a Spanish composition. And this is only for today. I still have another two weeks. For some reason, at this school, teachers like to wait until the last minute to assign everything. ~_~
Break's over, time to do some more work...
