This has been grating on me for a few days now, and I still don't know what to make of it. I heard someone say this over AIM, in person, and in IRC over the past 4-5 days.
Men don't like women who have a habit of saying intelligent things.
Is this true? Are guys really that shallow?
Do women really think that about guys?
It's been grating on me for a while, because I wouldn't doubt that some guys have serious issues with people being better than them (regardless of gender). Come to think of it I know of a few guys who are just like that, but it is far from the majority.
Maybe I'm weird. I like people who are smart, who have a head on their shoulders and use it. Be it book smart, wit, or some other practical use that shows thinking. Sure, keeping friends with someone who has a forked-tongue wit is dangerous, but it's fun. Thoughts?
