Finals are kicking my ass. The past week alone I have done 4 all nighters. That leaves three nights for sleep, and all three of those times I was asleep after 2 am and up by 8 am, which means I total 18 hours of sleep for the week, which is not good. They say you spend a quarter of your life sleeping (8 hours of every 24) but if I look at my average I am getting about 2 1/2 hours. On top of that, I am running on one meal a day, sometimes less. But enough about that part, let me post the time for posterity, and then get down to filling in what has happened.

Current Time: 5:30 am

I am in my room, laundry covers my bed, and the whole night has been a disaster and I was supposed to be doing homework. Media Tools homework to be more precise. I am currently at the point I was supposed to be at Thursday night. Now I am 3 sections of programming behind, which pushes everything back and will potentially make my homework for that class late. Sunday would be the day I would normally adjust for things like this, but this Sun. I have to spend doing HWI, ESSP, and Spanish HW first. It's a no win situation for me, don't you think? Anyway, the evening went by rather quick for one that should have been a tad slower. First and formost, I missed the Ozomatli (sp?) concert. They were playing at Freeman Stadium, and it cost $5, and I bought a ticket, and I didn't go. Why didn't I go? Yep...finals and HW. Then I was supposed to go to the Open Forum party at the Student Center at 8. Do I get to do that? Nope. Why? Sarah called and we ended up talking for something like 2 - 3 hours. Then I was going to go to the OF party at 9, but KK called, and I talked to her for another 2 or so hours. During this time, was any HW being done? No, of course not. THEN Semm-san sends me some stuff to burn onto a CD for him, so I do that, and I make a label for it. (Which kicks ass, I might add.) So anyway, this puts us at about midnight or so, and that is when I look at my clothes and say "oh shit, I need to do laundry." Not I have to because I have an outfit or two, but need to because I am out of everything that you would normally wear. Even the stuff I don't normally wear ended up in the laundry bin. So I started on my laundry.

And this is where the fun begins.

Step 1) Sort clothes. Done and done, that took me no time at all, despite having a massive amount of clothes to do.

Step 2) Get clothes to laundry room. Okay, now all those clothes did cause a problem. I ended up using my huge duffle bag for them all. Put my Tide in my backpack, and I was off.

Step 3) Load washer. Okay, 3 empty washers, once again, easy enough. I knew I hadn't overloaded either of them because I had put far more in them before.

Step 4) Return in about 40 min. This is where things got messy. I came back here and screwed around for a bit, and when I went back to move my laundry, two of the machines had stopped functioning. The timmer stopped counting, and the machine just sat there not knowing what to do. AND it kept the door locked. I had to unplug the machine, short it a little, then open the door and take my clothes out. To my knowledge, it is still sitting there at "20 min" waiting to do nothing. So I had two broken washing machines with half washed clothes. Back into the washer they go. $2.00 later, I was into the dryer phase. Bear in mind, this is 3 am. 2 loads, another $1.50...that takes away all my quarters. Especially since I only had $4.00 in quarters. Enough for my loads, nothing screwing up. So when I needed %0.50 for the dryer, I was forced to sacrifice a gift. Sarah had given me in her last letter the 2 new coins and I wanted to hurt someone as I put them in so I could finish my "chores" for the night. Finally, with all said and done, I came back here, sat down, and started writing. My Media Tools never got done. This is how my week has been so far. It is no wonder I haven't slept. When is there time? I suppose I could swap out classes, but not this close to finals.

It is now dawn outside, so I suppose I should close this and sleep for 3 hours or so. It is 6 am by my clock. You type slower when tired I guess. To OD People
