I decided to put a nice and solid hold on my NT/HT watching, because I had no desire today to send my mood downward like a rock in a pool. Maybe like late Friday night or late Monday night would be better. If for some reason, the series does get to me, it will be 10pm after 8 hours of class and I can fight it off with apathy and sleep.
I wish I could say today was awesome. Hell, I am going to say it anyway; today was awesome. It was as awesome as getting your right arm chopped off and being beat violently with it. Okay, yeah, limb beating is cool, so that is probably a bad analogy. Anyway, I had a few conversations today that pushed me the wrong way, and spent most of the afternoon trying to finish the NCWCA project. Apparently, even though I have some pretty large holes in the content, it should be hopefully going to press by the end of tomorrow. I didn't have anything planned from 8 am to 2 pm anyway, so I guess it isn't too bad. Apparently there is a "tech lunch" taking place after this, where we (the tech staff) get to go eat lunch and have a staff bonding moment. I wouldn't mind all that much if it wasn't at 2pm in the afternoon. Talk about a late lunch; my stomach may not take kindly to that.
In my shopping a few days ago, I picked up a new shirt, and have set it aside with a dye-set pair of black jeans. I'm not sure yet if I am going to wear my boots or my t-shoes with it yet. I suppose when I do decide to wear it, I will decide then. I feel kind of silly actually planning something to wear. I don't really do that often, though I admit, it has been kind of fun. Will it really truly make any difference? Probably not, but I will be feeling damn good about it; revel in the power of nonsensical confidence boosts!
Continuing with the pointless ramble, I spent a good part of the evening talking to Skeeve, who was the Vol department head at Fanime and now a cohort in the BAAS chaos. It was nice just to talk about random things and listen to someone do all the talking while I just listen and absorb information.
I am supposed to be up in about 4 hours. I will probably continue talking and may even play a bit of Zelda. Or write the segment in the timeline I am supposed to. Or do homework. Or...
Anyway, here is the logo Colin did. Since the draft, he has finished the eyes, so no she doesn't have the Chii eyes. It won't scale small though, so it limits the uses of this image. I personally was in favor of using the dragon's (serpent's?) head as our principal logo and have it peeking out from behind the CSU Seal. But, that is just me, and I tend to like clean artwork over the alternatives. One more thing on my list that is already far too long. It is 3 am now, and I do think I have killed enough time. Go, run play, whatever it is you do on this Internet..."thing".
