kaizoku-fansubs is an interesting place. I am still trying to get used to the IRC distribution along with BitTorrent, and am not used to checking my CRCs before sending stuff along. In a lot of ways, this has been a really new experience for me full of ups and downs. So how in the heck did I get back into the IRC thing? Well, I was showing Cyn how to do some DCC things, was trying to remember half of the commands, stuck around, and one day just injected myself into the conversation. Since then I have come to know some of the regulars in K-F a bit better although there is a lot I don't know yet. More for my own records than anything else...
My first contact in K-F, and he ended up taking me a bit under his wing. I actually started talking in KF about club stuff, and it all went from there. I offered up some bandwidth, got to help in Distribution, and now talk on occasion about random things. I didn't really even know what he did when I first talked to him. I have a feeling though if I ever had a question about any of the @, he would know who they were and probably be able to answer it. He also runs !spin, which is by far the most amusing trigger I have seen yet.
Don't know too much about her. Originally contacted by commenting on the amusing trigger that lacked a CTCP. I think even at one point I too copy-pasted "piroko is everywhere!!" ... I wonder if it amuses her.
I don't even know where to begin beyond me knowing her before I knew her. (Does that make any sense?) I was looking for Sanji x Nami fics as per Cyn's recommendation, and came across Sylphiel's fics. Turns out that Shiru runs that site. She seems to be the most active in the channel, and really gets the people talking.
My fellow coder, the only guy I know who I can sit down and code PHP with and feel an equal. He does some insane stuff too (ie: PHP IRC Bot) which really bends the rules. Very fun to talk to, although I am never going to remember the time differences.

I can't help but think of Fruits Basket when I see the name, and it beings to mind this evil horrible person that is in control of the Sohma family. Okay, maybe not that bad, but I only see him talk occasionally. He's in this list since I had such an amusing first impression.
I like Gravitation, I defended yaoi. I have no idea how to explain what happened from there on out. ^_^
, , , , I know them through the main channel or through distribution. These were names that I could remember without looking back at the channel window. They must have done something at some point to stick out in my mind.
