The Internet Goes Whoosh

Either my computer is against me, or someone was jiggling wires and left me without a connection for the later part of the day. Being netless, I did as best I could. With C&C Generals, OoT, and assorted LAN goodness, I was able to keep my mind off of things. There was some sort of 14th thing I mentioned before, and it seemed the notice seemed to work. Only one person managed to annoy me, and it was because he brought his date to the appartment while LAN gaming was taking place. I can't tell for sure, but I think he was annoyed at those of us who were gaming, being nerds, and making it hard for him to have a quiet dinner and stuff. (Then again, we DID say we were gaming, so I am not sure where I stand on this issue.) Eventually Matt joined the forray, and later Kryn.

Current Record: 2/3 on hardest difficulty, which isn't saying too much since the odds were 2 on 1 and 3 on 2. If it was a "fair" fight, I am almost certain I would be 0/3. But enough of the gaming update (for now).

I am pretty glad I left today open. I wasn't really sure what would develop or how things would go. The ASAP meeting from 2-4 got cancelled, and Sherylen got a big thing of roses delivered to her. I couldn't tell you what happened in the AM hours, as I was soundly asleep, getting to sleep in for the first time in the past few weeks. It was nice to wake up and actually see that the sun was already up. Maybe by the time Monday hits I will have my old sleep schedule back, and won't be waking up at 6:30 simply because I pass out at my computer at 11:00 the night before. Once could only hope. Tomorrow is about as open as today was, simply becuase I kind of just threw it all up in the air and decided to catch whatever fell my way. What has fallen this way so far is a trip to Fry's in San Jose (can NOT buy anything), a LAN party that night (may get some Timesplitters 2 in there or some Halo where it is Jakobo's room V Living Room), and I promissed Sundy I would attend her Rugby game against UCSC. There is an anti-war protest in SC, DunDra Con in Oakland, another anti-war protest on Sunday in S.F., and I am almost certain I am forgetting a mess of other things. I don't have enough me to split between all this. So, I get to pick and choose. Or, as I mentioned before, just kind of go with it all.

I must now resume saving VoH manga, so that I may take it to class with me on Monday.
