The best cure for an ill mood is some shopping and taking it easy. I feel a bit less stressed, though I still have a lot to do this weekend.
... one of these things was clearly not update my journal since it is now Sunday night, the weekend is gone, and only now am I looking at doing an update. I've started on the Rowgaine thing- 22 and balding, fuck you hair, I'm not letting you go yet, I like you too much. So yeah, twice a day I am putting a funny smelling topical thing on my scalp in an attempt to not go bald.
Shopping on Saturday didn't net me just a ticket into the consumer hair club for men, but it also got me a new pair of jeans. Unlike most guys, I really like trying on jeans in the store. I think this is because I don't want to have to come back and return them later (think lazy). So I go into the fitting room at Mervyn's, and I'm waiting patiently along with someone else since all the changing rooms are in use. I wouldn't have minded except there were two voices in the men's changing room that were most certainly not male. Some of my favorite lines while waiting included "I love how these jeans just mold to your butt", "you can't see my bra well enough", and "well no, I want them to come off easy". Of course, when they came out, they seemed shocked to have some fifteen or so males watching them. They looked around almost panic striken and one of them asked quietly, "is this the men's changing room?"
No, I wanted to reply, this isn't the Men's changing room, it's just the changing room full of men at the back of the Men's department labeled Men's fitting room. I didn't however, and let the Mervyn's employee explain that for store security, the Men's and Women's changing rooms were not combined. Once they had left, things returned to normal. The comedic incident did good for my spirit though, as I felt much better as the day wore on. By Saturday night, all was right and good. I then spent Sunday coding and went out for Sushi with friends. Monday brings with it a lot of work to do. I want password retrieval done as quicky as possible so I can start creating a few test accounts. These next few weeks are going to be intense.
