The Swing of Things

Writing an entry from ASAP, let alone having the time to write an entry period lately has been something that has kept slipping my mind. I seem to have established a good trend of getting halfway through writing something deep, meaningful, and interesting, but then falling asleep before I finish, leaving an outdated and irrelevant piece of writing I delete and start over with. Sure, I could post those half finished entries, but it would probably piss you off if mid sentence I suddenly

I've been really hard on myself lately, both for who I am and what I think. I've also been on a big "boys suck" kick, which is probably spawned from recent silly "dorama" and furthered by my own personal dislike of about 90% of the things we guys do. I refer to guys using the royal we because deep down, despite how much I act like a cat, try and be open, honest, breaking down the stereotypes, at the root of everything, I still have a penis. Unfortunately, that defective Y chromosome responds to other Y's in the area, and it makes for really stupidly uncomfortable situations. I spent a good while complaining to Jen about how I hate the way guys act and how wrong it is for them to act that way, knowing full well I was one of those guys (if even on a subconscious level) acting that way. It left me feeling very ill to my stomach and very helpless to the situation. As I have said before, and will probably say for ever: "damn boys".

If you aren't someone who reads Waxy on a regular basis, you might have missed this article which talks not only about growth in musical genres, but is full of 4 hot sexy Mp3s that you should be downloading now. Right now. Stop reading this and come back once you have them. Okay, you on the 56k modem, you are forgiven, but if you are on even DSL, it's only a few moments time. Musical experimentation is a wonderful thing and should be experienced by everyone. You should also brush up on your Stealth-disco technique. They should make a sport out of this kind of thing. It involves being sneaky, being silly, and disco action behind some unsuspecting co-worker. Such beautiful ideas rarely come along, but damn when they do, they make for some funny videos. And yes, there are videos from that link of people getting their Stealth Disco on.

The last thing I leave you with for this afternoon is a set of the coolest case mods to have ever blessed this planet. The AMD Big Block makes me want to cry a cry of geekish delight and yip about. Yes, yip. Like a fox. I would cavort like a trout, but this action has been banned from my blog until I can gather enough proof to support Kitsune's theory about cavorting trout.
