What? Nobody’s looking

I've been modding a new forum. No, that's not it. (Although Kitsune's mockery of a typical forum reminds me of several I used to read.)

I have been playing Animal Crossing. No, that's Kryn who is probably up right now because the store may have that one item he couldn't get any other way. So no, I'm not playing Animal Crossing.

What I have been doing is masses of homework, the late nights filled with Skies of Arcadia Legends. I have it on load from Cyn who probably knows my natural pull towards puzzles and RPGs. This game is really innovative, refreshing, and fun. It has dungeons, side quests, leveling up to turn your characters into minor deities, and you start with an airship. (It has also taken up my life in the form of 10 hours gameplay so far.)

Did I mention you start with an airship? And your airship can have cannons? And you can fight with it? Yeah, it really is that cool.

Today or rather yesterday (Wednesday) was every bit as bad as I was expecting it to be. I don't mean the work at ASAP or the class, it would be the meeting that takes place every Wed. night at 6:15 or so. "Abysmal" would be far too nice of a word. I shoved all emotion and opinion away, and took my civil business-like ass, sat it down, and got my work done with the other officers. I am rather glad this little thing is wrapping up after 2 years of slavery service.

Speaking of service (and it's CSUMB style learning) everything but the class seems to be going well. The class, however, is 4 hours of absolute pain. If it wasn't for my GBA SP, Pocket PC, and assorted other lithium-ion powered toys, I wouldn't know what to do. Example: we sat there in the room for an hour, doing nothing. One of the teachers had to leave, and the other was going around talking to students on a 1 to 1 basis. The rest of us weren't doing a damn thing.

In a lot of ways lately I have been using games as a very nice alternative to thinking about things.

Anyway, how about something happy to end on?

like kittens and puppies?

Yeah, that's the ticket.
