You should all run in fear from my MS Paint drawing. To call it hideous would be a compliment. That being said, on with the rest of the entry.
The computer I am using is not mine, as I have relocated for the weekend to Sacramento. Some of you who live in this area have offered the synonym "childhood hell" which is pretty fitting at times. Anyway, I got back to my hometown of Roseville about 3 or so, and tried to soak in the sun while it was still out. I looked at the work my dad had done with his PC, and admired the messy (but more or less complete) wiring job that had turned it into a miniature editing station. Of course, when he got home, I was given a full demonstration. Some stuff wasn't working quite right, and so I asked him if he did a wiring diagram of it. Of course, he hadn't, so I set about working on that while talking to him. Amidst all the talking, I lost track of time, and somehow an hour and a half passed at my house before Joel called, asking if I was home yet. I went promptly to Joel's house and watched some Hunter: The Reckoning, while catching up on small things. I returned to home for a very nummy steak dinner, and then eventually made my way back there for some video games and a bit of RP.
The gaming was well, although I had to really shift my style since I was used to the issues of my other group. There wasn't Kryn trying to do crazy things, Jake trying to push some of the rules to their limit, Eric trying to keep a handle on it all, nor me enjoying killing off people. Instead, I had Steve and Joel, who both love being in character. So we ended up with Ja-mon, a Gungan soldier and Riyan, a Human scout (who was also a ladies' man). Things went really smooth, especially for making up most of the adventure over dinner. I forgot how much I like this group, who treats it like a fun little social gathering where amusing acting can take place. After we finished the chapter, we relaxed in Joel's living room and talked about everything from Target to school to the summer. We also touched on our old English videos, and I am hoping to get those digitized as soon as possible, hopefully early this summer when I will have access to the equipment.
For those currently trying to use Hikaru FTP, I'm sorry if it went down, as there isn't much I can do about it from here.
